At Kevenka Coffees, they take pride in being a leading producer and exporter of high-quality green coffee beans, with strong roots in Surabaya, East Java. Their mill is nestled in the Ijen region, where the fertile volcanic soil and ideal climate contribute to the rich, distinctive flavours of their coffees. Their commitment to quality begins with strong partnerships with local farmers, producer partners, and collectors. To ensure each batch meets high standards, they conduct an extensive quality control process upon receiving the coffee cherries. This rigorous inspection guarantees that only the finest, ripest cherries are selected for processing, safeguarding the integrity and flavour of their beans from the start. This year, they are excited to showcase three distinct coffee processing methods: Natural, Washed with 48-hour Anaerobic Fermentation, and Natural with 48-hour Anaerobic Fermentation. Each process reflects their dedication to innovation and craftsmanship, producing beans with unique flavour profiles that highlight the terroir of the Ijen Highlands in East Java. Their improvements compared to the previous harvest year include a more experienced and seasoned team, higher quality and cupping scores, enhanced processing equipment, and an upgraded drying facility. These advancements allow them to produce larger quantities of coffee without compromising on quality, ensuring that customers continue to receive premium coffee with every shipment.
